Old style rooms and decor but clean and very tidy. Had some trouble with the TV but this was quickly settled by very pleasant staff. Will certainly use this hotel again.
Wellington can be a great place to visit on a summers day. But on a wet, windy and cold June weekend it does loose some of its glamour. A warm hotel room to return too,does really help at those times.

Few great things about this hotel. The service at this hotel was excellent. All the reception staffs were great and friendly. We did not try the restaurant but their gym facility was great, too. On the other hand, there were few things I did not like. First, I did not like the mattress as it was very soft and I even got a sore back for the rest of my stay. Second, I did not like the bathroom unit.
The room did not have the bathtub and fan. Third, the room only had one chair for double bedroom. The room itself looked very old and it has only one old elevater for the entire hotel. I think the price was still reasonable considering the location of the hotel.
We recommend wellington to visit. You had better rent a car to have a look of the whole city though. Depending on which season you go, but expect the strong windy weather and hilly and narrow streets outside of the city.
